Heather Tom is awesome, truly awesome. Her reaction to the post-operation scar, her interactions with Nick, how he treated the scar on her chest - it all rang true. “It’s a lot harder for you to look at a scar like that than it is for me.” When he said that, I believed him. Few other words were exchanged, but that scene really hit the mark - their understated chemistry and tenderness with each other is pretty damn subtle for this show.
